Executive Training on the Role of ICTs in the Development of Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities, will be held in Podgorica, Montenegro, on 16 November 2017. This training is organized by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in cooperation with the UN Office in Montenegro and the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of Montenegro (EKIP), within the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe on Ensuring access to telecommunications/ICTs, in particular for persons with disabilities, adopted by the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2014 (WTDC-14), Dubai.

The Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services has been successfully completing another process for awarding approvals for the use of radio-frequencies, on this occasion from the band 3,5 GHz, used for the purposes of fixed wireless access (WiMAX).more>>

The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham) has today organized the conference ''Openly with the Prime Minister'' in hotel Hilton, presenting the ''2016 Business Climate Report''
in Monteenegro, followed by the interview with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Duško Markoviċ. During the interview, the Prime Minister has pointed out that the current business environment needed to be improved in order to have higher standard of living, while the critics and suggestions he heard on the business climate were not so strong, having in mind the current situation".
The representatives have come to a conclusion that the high level of infrastructure was one of the main prerequisites for investing in Montenegro. According to the subject Report: "member companies are very much satisfied with the telecommunication infrastructure in the state, as 93% of the member states consider it to be good or very good, " being much similar to the previous AmCham Report made for the year 2014.more>>
