Numbering

The Agency manages the Numbering Plan and Addressing Plan for the purposes of efficient structuring and utilization of numbers and addresses; satisfying the needs of operators eligible for the allocation of numbers and addresses according to the Law on Electronic Communications and ensuring that the assignment and use of numbers and addresses is fair and non-discriminatory.

The Agency adopts the Numbering Plan and Addressing Plan.

The Numbering Plan determines: type, length, structure, allocation and manner of use of the numbers for access to the public electronic communications networks and public electronic communications services.

The Addressing Plan includes definitions and structure of codes of international signalling points, codes of national signalling points, mobile network codes, identity network code for data transmission and the manner of operation.

On session that took place on 07.05.2009, after carrying out a Public consultation process, Council of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services has adopted new Numbering Plan and new Addressing Plan which are in accordance with the Law on Electronic Communications
