Council of the Agency appointed

By the Decision of the Government of Montenegro dated 11.12.2008, the Council of the Agency was appointed, consisting of:

1. Dr Šaleta Ä?urović, Council President

2. Aleksandar MijaÄ?, Memeber

3. Branko Kovijanić, Member

4. Ana Radonjić, Member, and

5. Milica Vukotić, Member.

The Council had its constitutive session on 22.12.2008 on the premises of the Agency, when the Interim Rules of Procedure of the Agency Council was adopted, which was supposed to remain in force until the adoption of the Agency’s Statute and Rules of Procedure that would be fully complied with that Statute. It was also decided that a public recruitment procedure should be announced for filling the post of the executive director of the Agency, and considering the fact that the expert services had already prepared draft Statute, a new Council session was fixed for 26.12.2008 when the Agency Statute was to be adopted.

The Council considered at its session some issues related to the creation of all conditions needed for the Council and every single member of the Council to carry out their functions, and it was decided, inter alia, that the President and three members should perform their duties as professional employees, while Milica Vukotić would be a Council Member on part-time basis, as provided for by the Law („Official Gazette No 50/2008).

At the Council session, the information about the Agency’s investments was reviewed, along with necessary activities related to the harmonization of secondary legislation with the Law, and the need for the implementation of the new manner of financing the Agency, whose application should start from 01.01.2009.
