Council President of the Agency

Šaleta Đurović finished elementary school, high school and faculty (the Faculty of Law) in Podgorica. He completed post-graduate studies in Belgrade where he gained MA and PhD degrees (in the field of foreign investment - Joint Venture).

He speaks English, and can use Russian, German and Italian.

Before being appointed the President of the Council of the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services, he performed various tasks and duties in the General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Montenegro (head of the General Secretariat – head of the Section for preparation and monitoring of the Government sessions; senior adviser with a special status; advisor in the cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government – a secretary of the working body of the Government, etc.) and in the Agency of Montenegro for Economic Restructuring and Foreign Investment (deputy director, assistant director and manager).

He was the member of a number of working bodies of the Government, intersectoral commissions, expert working groups, councils, etc.

Mr Đurović was the president and/or the member of managing bodies in 15 companies in Montenegro (in 5 assemblies and 10 managing boards – boards of directors), in the sports club BK “Budućnost” and professional society – the Association of Lawyers of Montenegro.

He has taken part in about twenty projects in Montenegro (as the chairman or member of working groups or the reviewer), and he is the author of 60-odd scientific and expert works which have been published in this country and abroad.

He has attended the courses of various international organizations (OECD, UNCTAD, WAIP, CEI, etc.) and has been a member of the Government delegations in many international events, seminars, roundtable discussions, etc.

He is member of various international associations and steering committees.

Mr Đurović is Montenegrin by nationality. He is married to Gordana, and they have two sons, Đorđije i Vasilije. He a member of DPS.
